November Meeting...let's play!

We had a good time playing with Tapers & Starbursts. As you can see we certainly created some different pieces of decor. Thank you to Yasmin D'Sousa of Events Are Us for making extra copies of the Decor flyers and Instruction sheets given out.

We'll be meeting the following dates next year, on Thursdays...March 10th, May 12th, and November 10th for General Meetings again at the Cherry Hill Conference Center. We're trying for another Seminar in July; we'll keep you posted and our Annual Dinner will be September 8th.

Items for Sale

Donna Goff has closed her business, Floraloons, in Pennsylvania. If interested in items below, contact Donna at (717) 521-8393 or donna@floraloons.com. A balloon stuffing machine (Classy Wrap) which is in excellent shape and the stand that holds nine stuffed balloons. Selling both of them for $300.

Sharon Murphy has a Bow Machine to sell. It has the 3 added bolt spindles on each of the ribbon posts so that one can wind 6 spools of ribbon at a time. This saves time if one is winding all the same color, 2 or 3 colors and, or course, one can put 6 colors on at the same time. Asking price of $350. November Meeting...let's play!

We're really going to get our hands on Tapers, Crescents, and Starbursts this meeting. Come and play with these great Decor Shapes and see what you can do with them. Ed Hunt, our Pioneer Rep, will be here to share some news on what's happening in the balloon industry.

So bring a hand pump if you can and let's see what you come up with! Networking starts at 6:30pm and Meeting starts at 7pm at the Cherry Hill Park Conference Center. See you then!

MAQBN Annual Dinner

It was a good time and good food at the Red Sky Steak & Fish House for the 14th Annual Dinner for our Chapter. Only seven of us there - Brenda Hardy, Brenda Schwaab, Sandy Hartzell, Sandy Robinson, Lise O'Connell, Betty Williams and her dad. Lots of talk about who we should have for next year's seminar. Suggestions? please let us know. (Sorry that the photo isn't too clear, we kept our waitress busy!!)

September is International Balloon Month!

It's almost here...International Balloon Month! So you know what that means, we'll be seeing lots of balloons next month. We hope our friends will help support this fun campaign and bring balloons, put a smile on someone's face!

July 25th Cam Woody CBA Seminar

Thank You to Cam Woody, CBA of Pioneer Balloon Company for bringing her experience and tips to us! She provided some unique balloon creations and tips & tricks during the hands-on portion. A great day of balloon educational training offered.

We had a great crowd...30 some! Thank you to E&R Sales for giving us Door Prizes and thank you also to Lauderdale Paper for helping us out with a product discount. Great time!
